Aegis is partnered with a manufacturing company in Elk Grove Village that is looking for an Accounting Specialist to support high-volume AR/AP, inventory tracking, and general accounting functions. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys a small office environment, wants stability, and is confident handling detailed accounting work with accuracy and speed.

Process 50–80 AR invoices and 40–50 AP bills weekly
Apply double-entry accounting (debits/credits) in daily work
Enter payments, bank transactions, and manage cash application
Support shipping & logistics documentation when needed
Maintain inventory and assist with material/part tracking
Use QuickBooks for accounting functions
Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams
Answer phones occasionally and assist with general office tasks
3+ years of accounting experience
Strong understanding of double-entry accounting
Hands-on experience with high-volume AR/AP
Proficiency in QuickBooks
Strong Excel & Microsoft Office skills
Stable work history
Ability to multitask, move quickly, and work in a small-team environment
Comfortable supporting both accounting and logistics functions
Experience with Microsoft Business Central (BC)
Manufacturing or distribution industry experience
Knowledge of shipping documentation
Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
