We are a growing short-term rental business in Chicago. Our mission is to provide guests with top-tier experiences. Cleanliness is at the core of our guest experience, and we are looking for a dedicated Cleaner who can ensure each unit is spotless, welcoming, and guest-ready after every checkout.
The Cleaner will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and resetting apartments after guest check-outs while maintaining the highest hospitality standards. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and strong communication skills to coordinate schedules and ensure timely turnovers .
Perform complete cleaning of units after guest checkouts (bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and common spaces).
Change/refresh linens, towels, and restock basic supplies.
Check for damages, missing items, and report issues promptly.
Maintain cleanliness to Airbnb “superhost” and hotel-quality standards.
Follow cleaning checklists to ensure consistency across all units.
Communicate with the Guest services team regarding scheduling, special requests, or cleaning-related issues.
Ensure timely turnovers, especially during same-day check-in/check-out situations.
Proven 1-2 years of experience cleaning Airbnb, short-term rentals, or hotels (required).
Strong eye for detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to follow cleaning checklists and instructions.
Good communication skills to coordinate scheduling and report issues.
Flexibility to work weekends and during peak booking periods.
