  • Responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating virtual events, campus events, and local events.
  • Tracks projects, manages vendor activities, conducts restaurant and vendor research, develops new vendor relationships, executes happy hours, dinners, and virtual events.
  • Organizes and plans logistics (e.g., facility selection, menu planning, transportation arrangements, and audio/visual equipment) for organization meetings and special events.
  • Work with internal stakeholders, marketing partners and cross-functional team members to develop and execute event strategies.
  • Manage communications with presenters and hosts to ensure they have the correct equipment (mic, camera) and test internet connectivity and liaise with management to procure equipment as needed.
  • Source compelling and engaging networking and entertainment options.
  • Manage all budget and related financial responsibilities, including estimates, deposits and invoicing, billing and event expense reconciliation, provide detailed post-show expense reporting.
  • Add value to customer experience through critical thinking, anticipating needs and offering additional services/support, if appropriate.
  • Work in a creative and innovative way to continually improve the processes around planning and producing events

    Qualifications:
    • A four-year college degree (or additional experience in a related field) and 3 years functional experience including a minimum 1-year position specific experience.
    • Experience with event management and/or scheduling software, preferred.
    • Experience working cross functionally in a mid to large sized organization while building trust and fostering collaboration.
    The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $60,000.00 - $96,000.00 per year. The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range. These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
