CATERING EVENTS SERVER - Founding Farmers Catering & Events

Founding Farmers Catering & Events is seeking catering servers to join our growing team! Catering servers are responsible for picking up, delivering, setting up, servicing, and breaking down of catering events.

Hourly Pay: $20/hr + Shared tips

WHAT OUR CATERING SERVERS DO:

• Set up and break down of catering events, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and other event equipment.
• Prepare food and beverages to guests at various off-site and on-site events
• Ensure proper presentation, portioning, and serving of food items
• Provide professional and courteous service to guests, ensuring their satisfaction
• Assist in the breakdown and clean-up of events, including packing up equipment and supplies
• Take orders from guests for food and/or beverages
• Check with guests to ensure that they are enjoying their experience and take action to correct any problems
• Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters and take them to kitchen for cleaning
• Clean tables or counters throughout event
• Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items, such as linens, silverware, and glassware
• Are punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance
• Contribute to a positive team environment
• Handle guest inquiries and special requests with efficiency and a positive attitude

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE A CATERING SERVER:

• One year of experience working as a Catering Event Server or Restaurant Server
• Hospitality a MUST
• Must be 18 years old due to service of alcohol
• Must be able to travel to off-site events
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Have reliable transportation
• Weekend availability a MUST
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds, as needed
• Capable of continuous bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and use of hands and arms
