Make a difference, and make a better future for yourself at Mile High Youth Corps.

We are a group of young people who are focused on combatting Climate Change and educating our community on climate change and climate action.

This is not like other jobs.

Join us for our 2023 Community Climate Ambassador Program! The Community Climate Ambassador program is a team-based, 48 week program for individuals between the ages 18-24. Participants (called Climate Action  Corpsmembers ) serve as community connectors and educate local residents on the issues of climate change, heat vulnerability, and water scarcity. Corpsmembers will be enrolled in AmeriCorps—a national community service program.

  Corpsmembers will earn up to $32,895 over a 48 week term of service in total compensation.

Never had a job in community education before? Not sure if you like this kind of work? That’s okay! Our goal is to support you with the knowledge and support that you need to be successful. We will provide you with hands-on training related to all projects, and skills and certificates that will lead you to a future in green industries.

All we ask is that you bring your dedication to hard work, a positive attitude, and a commitment to a service term you’ll never forget.

Special Benefits

Biweekly stipend: Earn a living stipend of $1,240 (pretax) every two weeks.
 Education Award: Earn a scholarship of $6,495 upon
completion of service term. This award can be used to
pay future tuition, training costs, and payback of
qualifying student loans. Individuals have 7 years to use
the education award.
 Timeline: This is a temporary position with start dates available on January 16, 2023
o Standard hours are Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30 pm and Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm. Some
evenings and weekend hours may be required.
 Industry Recognized Certifications Available: OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR, Building Science Principles, and Roots
of Success. Build your resume and experience for employment within green industries.
