Job Title: Cook - Hospital Setting

Location: The Woodlands, TX

Pay: $18/hr (Weekly Pay)

Shift: Hours and shifts vary; candidate must be flexible and available to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our team at a prestigious hospital located in The Woodlands, TX. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in food preparation and will be responsible for ensuring the timely and proper preparation of meals for patients, staff, and visitors in a hospital setting. This position requires flexibility, teamwork, and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare meals for hospital patients, staff, and visitors, following dietary guidelines and hospital menus.

* Adhere to strict food safety standards and ensure kitchen cleanliness.

* Work closely with kitchen staff and hospital management to meet meal schedules and dietary restrictions.

* Ensure all food is prepared according to hospital policies and standards.

* Manage kitchen inventory and assist with restocking supplies.

* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all health and safety protocols.

* Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen supervisor.

Requirements:

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in food preparation or a related kitchen environment.

* Food Handlers Certificate (required)

* Immunizations and TB test (required)

* High school diploma or equivalent (required)

* Must be flexible and available to work varying shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
