Customer Service Specialist
Immediate Opportunity – Temp to Hire
**MUST HAVE: Petrochemical/Oil & Gas experience**
Location:  Woodlands – Zip Code 77380
Pay to $28 hourly 
Great hybrid schedule after training period!

Join our dynamic team as a Customer Service representative with a focus on the oil & gas industry. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service through accurate order processing, effective communication with clients, and collaboration with internal departments. This fast-paced and collaborative position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a key industry.

Required Skills:

• 1-2 years of experience in the chemical or oil & gas industry
• 3 years of customer service experience
• Strong knowledge of SAP is preferred
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage open orders efficiently and adhere to established processes
• Proficiency in generating quotes and processing customer orders
• Capability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key accounts
• Familiarity with Incoterms, payment terms, and pricing

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with system requirements and business management guidelines
• Previous training in OSHA PPE standards is a bonus

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Additional certification in customer service or related field is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Full-time position requiring 40 hours per week
• Onsite position at Waterway location, transitioning to a hybrid model after 3 months of training
• Flexible schedule, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote after transitioning to a hybrid model
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Availability to work on-site on Wednesdays
• Capability to process new purchase orders within 24 hours
