GKY is a small business-owned dental laboratory that places an emphasis on providing thorough and highly personalized dental services and products to clinicians. The products and services we offer are crowns, bridges, metal-free restorations, removables, implants, guided surgeries, and shade matching. We are dedicated to helping smaller dental practices have their needs met through creating and perfecting these products and providing these services.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and managing the schedules and movements of personnel, vehicles, and products. This role is crucial in ensuring timely, safe, and efficient delivery of services. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain effective communication under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and dispatch drivers, vehicles, and/or service teams based on customer needs, service calls, or predetermined routes.
• Monitor and track the location of drivers in real-time using GPS or other tracking software.
• Maintain detailed records of service calls, route changes, and other dispatch-related data in the system.
• Communicate with drivers, field staff, and customers to ensure accurate delivery and/or service completion.
• Respond to doctor inquiries, providing updates on the status of services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues that arise during the dispatching process.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Prepare daily reports for management, summarizing service and dispatch activities.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or transportation management is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Dispatcher or in a similar role.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel. 
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work Monday to Fridays from 8am to 5pm. 
• Familiarity with local geography and traffic patterns.

Preferred Skills:

• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
