Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist in Athens OH

Join a Supportive OB Hospitalist Practice in Athens Ohio!

Our facility is dedicated to providing excellent obstetric care through a collaborative approach among hospital staff and affiliated specialists. As an OB hospitalist you will engage in OB triage manage inpatient care and assist in deliveries ensuring improved clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. You will be part of a supportive community of obstetricians family practice physicians and sub-specialists.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide 24-hour in-house coverage for obstetric and gynecologic emergencies.
• Collaborate with community OBs to create a highly cohesive care team.
• Manage OB/GYN emergency-department patients effectively.
• Communicate in real-time with office physicians regarding triage visits new issues and deliveries.
• Ensure continuity quality and safety through best practices.
• Participate in multidisciplinary OB critical care.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in OB/GYN (Required)
• OH medical license (Preferred) or active IMLC compact eligible
• A minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience (Required)
• Completed Prescreen Questionnaire
• CV in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained (Required)

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification in OB/GYN
• Ohio medical license (preferred) or compact eligible status
