This role is tied to a series of highly regulated public-sector projects for the next 10 years. Due to this we can only consider C2C which you correctly identified.
Key constraints upfront imposed on us:
- All resources must be physically located within the continental United States (no offshore or nearshore). Attempts to circumvent using VPN are subject to legal action by the government agency.
- Named individuals must be disclosed, remain assigned, and have no criminal or grave civil records; government agency will perform background checks before approval.
- Work is deliverables-based via Work Authorization; no guaranteed hours. However we structure our government projects deliverables to be atomic and ensure steady billing cycles.

Role Description
This is a 90% remote contract for the role of Mayan EDMS DevOps and Cloud Engineer. This is a new position for a specific, highly regulated, Government contracts team.
The role requires strong production discipline, comfort working under formal change control, and the ability to collaborate with senior engineers and public-sector IT staff.
