Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain roofs using a variety of materials and techniques
- Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action for repairs
- Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new roofing installations
- Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions
- Install or repair flashing, gutters, and downspouts
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) while working at heights
- Clean up job sites and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored

Skills:
- Proficient in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and measuring devices
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
- Experience with panel laying, including cutting and shaping panels to fit specific areas
- Knowledge of general maintenance person skills
- Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings for roof installations

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a roofer or laborer in the construction industry
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions
- Ability to work at heights and follow safety guidelines
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: $48,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
