Mortgage Loan Originator
Location Remote-US | Fully Remote
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $26.50/hr
• Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm
• W2
ROLE IMPACT: As a Remote Loan Officer, you’ll play a vital role in shepherding loan applications from intake to submission, ensuring compliance and accuracy every step of the way. Your support in coordinating with clients and internal departments will directly impact the efficiency of the loan process and the client experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collect, review, and ensure completeness of loan application documents
• Prepare packages for underwriting, including credit reports and income verification
• Update clients on loan status and respond to inquiries throughout the process
• Enter and manage client data in LOS and Salesforce systems
• Collaborate with internal teams to drive timely loan processing and compliance adherence
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Current NMLS License required
• 3+ year mortgage loan servicing experience required
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred
• Strong communication, multitasking, and customer service skills
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Loan Origination Systems (LOS)
• Salesforce
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Social Media platforms
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Familiarity with compliance documentation in financial services
• Experience scheduling meetings and preparing client-facing reports
• Knowledge of loan lifecycle best practices
