NICU Nurse Manager - Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Position Overview

As the NICU Nurse Manager, you will collaborate with the Director to lead clinical operations, mentor staff, and maintain excellence in patient care within our family-centered NICU environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and clinical oversight for all NICU operations
• Drive quality initiatives and performance improvement projects
• Mentor and develop nursing staff while promoting evidence-based practices
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care delivery and family-centered care approaches
• Manage departmental resources, staffing, and budgetary responsibilities
• Support the implementation of new technologies and care protocols

Required Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred
• Current Texas RN license or Multi-State Compact License
• 2+ years recent NICU leadership experience as Manager or Charge Nurse
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Strong clinical background in neonatal intensive care
• Excellence in communication and team leadership
