Job Description

Go Fast Manufacturing in New London, WI is looking for one office / operations assistant to join our 25 person strong team. We are located on N3752 Drier Rd. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and hard-working.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Office & Operations Assistant to support our administrative and operational functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day-to-day tasks and can comfortably shift between office support, purchasing, and basic accounting functions. The right candidate will be organized, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Office Administration

  • Answer phones, direct calls, and greet visitors.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and shipments.
  • Maintain office supplies and place orders as needed.
  • Organize and maintain physical and digital files.
  • Assist with data entry and document preparation.

Operations Support

  • Assist operations team with scheduling, logistics, and job tracking.
  • Support production or field teams with documentation, forms, and records.
  • Coordinate between departments to ensure workflow continuity.

Parts Orders & Inventory

  • Place and track parts and supply orders from vendors.
  • Receive and verify shipments, update inventory records.
  • Follow up on backorders and communicate delays or substitutions.
  • Assist with maintaining an organized inventory system.

Basic Accounting Support

  • Enter vendor bills and customer invoices into accounting software.
  • Reconcile receipts and purchase orders.
  • Assist with monthly account reconciliations and reporting.
  • Prepare deposits and assist with payment processing.
  • Maintain vendor and customer records in QuickBooks or equivalent.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • 2+ years in an office assistant, operations, or bookkeeping role.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks experience preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with purchasing or inventory is a plus.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based position with occasional warehouse or production floor visits.
  • May require lifting light packages or moving inventory.
