Position: Parks Maintenance Technician
Status: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $17.52/hour
Schedules Available:
- Monday – Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Tuesday – Saturday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Sunday – Thursday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
About the Role:
Join our team and help maintain the stunning parks and outdoor spaces of Florida’s Space Coast. As a Parks Maintenance Technician, you’ll support the upkeep of grounds, facilities, and public spaces to ensure our parks remain safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general care and maintenance of park buildings, grounds, and facilities
- Cut and edge grass, operate hand and power tools
- Sweep walkways, remove trash and refuse, and clean facilities including restrooms, picnic, and camping areas
- Assist with skilled trades such as plumbing, painting, carpentry, and basic repairs or installations
- Load and unload heavy materials and equipment
- Carry out additional related duties as needed
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 3 months combined experience in grounds and building maintenance
- Experience with mechanical or equipment repair preferred
Requirements:
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must pass a drug test and background screening
• Drug-Free Workplace
