Job Title:- Sterile Processing Tech
Location – Albuquerque, NM 87106
Shift – 8 Hour Evenings
Duration – 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours – 36 hrs/Week
Pay Rate: $40-$43/hr
Job Summary:
Perform duties of decontamination, assembly, high level disinfection and/or sterilization of surgical instruments for the OR and other hospital departments and clinics in accordance with established policies and standard work.
Essential Duties:
Prioritize tasks as directed by supervisor or as needed to support patient care for the OR and customer departments.
Document, monitor and maintain accurate records demonstrating high level disinfection and sterilization in accordance with current professional and regulatory agencies.
Performs other functions as required.
Required Skills & Experience:
Two (2) years current experience required in large OR.
Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast paced environment.
Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
HSPA (IAHCSMM) OR CBSPD required.
BLS certification may not be required.
BLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
