Rj Bbq/Rym/Fd Pantry in Nephi, UT is looking for one production prep assistant to join our 24 person strong team. We are located on 42 S Main St. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and reliable.

FD Pantry, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Prep Assistant to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing candy for production, loading and unloading freeze-drying machines, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare candy and other products for freeze-drying according to established recipes and procedures.
• Load and unload trays into and out of freeze-drying machines safely and efficiently.
• Weigh, label, and organize finished products for packaging or storage.
• Keep the prep area, equipment, and work surfaces clean and sanitized throughout the day.
• Follow all food safety and handling guidelines.
• Assist with restocking ingredients and supplies as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of production batches when required.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily production flow.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Preferred: Current Utah Food Handler’s Permit (or ability to obtain within 14 days of hire).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Previous food production, kitchen, or manufacturing experience is a plus.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Full-time position (approx. 40 hours per week).
• Early morning start time (5 a.m. – 2 p.m.).
• Pay based on experience.
