Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant or EFDA to support our dentists and hygienists in delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will be organized, compassionate, and eager to contribute to a positive team atmosphere. Looking for an experienced assistant with a 2+ years. We will consider no experience interviews.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during procedures by preparing instruments, taking X-rays, and sterilizing equipment.
• Prepare patients for treatments/explaining procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage scheduling using Eaglesoft dental software.
• Ensure a clean and safe clinical environment by following infection control protocols (e.g., OSHA standards).
• Provide chairside assistance, including suctioning, passing instruments, and applying topical anesthetics.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Handle administrative tasks such as inventory management and front-desk support as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Dental Assistant certification (e.g., CDA) preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients of all ages. Outgoing and friendly
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with dental software (training provided).
• CPR certification is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies in dentistry.
