Hourly Rate: $30–$40/hour , depending on experience and availability
The Mean Fiddler, one of Times Square’s busiest and most iconic nightlife and dining destinations, is seeking a Professional Door Host to join our team. We’re looking for a friendly, confident, and well-presented individual who can deliver a welcoming first impression to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism.
As the face of the venue, the Door Host is responsible for greeting guests, checking IDs, assisting with line management, coordinating with security staff, and helping maintain an organized and enjoyable entry experience. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a high-volume nightlife or restaurant setting and possess strong interpersonal skills and situational awareness.
About the Role:Greet and engage guests in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival.
Verify valid identification and age requirements for entry (21+).
Manage guest lines, assist with crowd control, and coordinate with management and security teams.
Maintain professionalism and composure in a busy, high-energy environment.
Assist with general door operations and uphold venue policies at all times.
Provide excellent customer service and enhance the guest experience.
Requirements
Must have a current and valid New York State Security Guard License .
Must be 21 years of age or older and authorized to work in the United States .
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a similar nightlife, bar, or restaurant environment preferred.
Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays , with availability until 4 AM .
Strong communication skills, professionalism, and a friendly demeanor required.
Dress code: Professional nightlife business attire .
Compensation
Hourly rate: $30–$40/hour , based on experience and availability.
