Position Summary:

As a Store Manager, you are responsible for all aspects of the retail operations of your store location. You will be expected to lead your team to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction and uphold our mission to provide a positive environment for both our customers and employees. We are looking for a candidate with strong leadership skills, who enjoys working with people, is hard-working, and has a passion for the fashion retail industry. 

This is a full-time hourly position. Hourly rate is determined based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the store, including but not limited to employee scheduling, cash management, inventory operations, store cleanliness and appearance, and the visual merchandising plan.
  • Lead team to provide excellent customer service by going above and beyond to assist customers in their buying experience.
  • Hire, train, and develop a team of employees who value the company mission and are successful in their roles.
  • Meeting sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to employees.
  • Educates the team about the brands and products carried in the store and inspires excitement and passion in the team about our products.
  • Knowledgeable about the fit and care of the products in order to assist customers with their product questions.
  • Continuously educates the team how to engage with customers and ensure that each customer is greeted and helped during their visit.
  • Ensure store compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized sales floor and workspace.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship or similar relevant field preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience working in a retail environment, with at least 1 year in a managerial role.
  • Strong leadership and customer management abilities.
  • Customer service-oriented with in-depth knowledge of basic business management processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experienced in merchandising and maintaining a visual plan.
  • Experienced in managing the daily operations of a retail store.
  • Available to work a retail schedule which includes nights and weekends as needed to support daily operations.
  • Comfortable with coaching and training employees, including using tools such as employee improvement plans, to help foster a growth environment.

  • Overtime pay (1.5 times hourly rate) for hours worked over 40 hours in a weekly payroll session.

  • 80 hours paid time off (PTO) awarded each calendar year (PTO hours are prorated based on remaining days left in the calendar year upon initial start of employment).
