Systems Performance Engineer

Work mode: hybrid (50% onsite and 50% near-site from any EU country in monthly basis)

Duration: 110 days, renewable

Project start date: 01/12/2025

Double Subcontracting: Not Allowed

Daily Rate: 468 euros all-in

Job Description:

Kindly note that the position will require an EU security clearance process to be held before the consultant's start date.

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in systems and/or application performance engineering.
• Proven expertise in addressing system performance issues within complex environments.
• Strong experience with Linux and Windows Server administration, performance tuning, and scripting.
• Hands-on experience evaluating performance of enterprise applications, systems, and virtualized infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Cisco network devices and Fortinet firewalls.
• Proficiency with performance monitoring for:
  • Systems: iostat, htop, vmstat tools
  • Databases: OEM, AWR, tkprof, SQL Trace
  • Applications: Apache, WebSphere, FileNet, JMeter, web monitoring tools
  • Infrastructure: network, storage, Nutanix.
• English language skills(C-level, written and spoken).

Desirable:

• General knowledge of networking, ICT infrastructure and systems.
• Previous experience with Nagios monitoring to elaborate live checks.
• Previous experience IT automation.
