Job Description
Job Summary:
- Design and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on Azure or GCP
- Select suitable cloud services based on performance, cost, and application requirements
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Google Cloud Deployment Manager
- Ensure cloud architecture meets the criteria for cost optimization, scalability, security, and compliance
- Implement robust security measures to protect cloud resources from unauthorized access and cyberattacks
- Configure access controls, identity and access management (IAM), and encryption for data at rest and in transit
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and data privacy laws
- Develop and implement processes for monitoring cloud infrastructure performance and health
- Perform regular system maintenance to ensure stability and prevent downtime
- Manage and configure system resources for optimal performance, scalability, and security
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues within the cloud environment
- Automate routine tasks and monitoring processes for increased efficiency
- Candidate should have five years' experience in Azure Cloud management and three years' experience in Google Cloud management
- Candidate should have three years' experience in Cloud Virtualization management and High availability management
- Educational requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related field like computer science
- Certifications required include Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect, and Cloud Computing Professional (CCP) from the Cloud Credential Council (CCC)
- Job-specific technical skills include knowledge of Microsoft Enterprise systems, Microsoft and Google Cloud administration, and Azure and Google Native Security and Network services.
