Overview: **VISUAL ARTISTS** (Who Can Host) - "Peanuts Celebration" **AUDITION** **December 2nd** Sign-in 2:30pm Audition 3:00pm **Schedule an audition appointment at:** **3D Theatricals** 1255 N Knollwood Cir, Anaheim, CA 92801 Knott's Berry Farm is casting charming and passionate **_VISUAL ARTISTS_** who have strong storytelling and show hosting abilities for "Sketch School." Shows will take place for a limited time during Knott's Peanuts Celebration. Artists will teach audiences to draw their favorite Peanuts Characters while utilizing a video projection and narrating the process and drawing techniques. An ideal candidate must be able to confidently display command of both their artistry and their showmanship while they communicate clear instructions to the audiences of all ages. Seeking a diverse spectrum of gender identities and ethnic and cultural backgrounds who aim to exceed guest expectations and provide the highest quality of family entertainment. **Please bring a photo, resume, and examples of your artwork** . Those participating in the audition will demonstrate their artistry by performing a series of improvised drawing exercises using a felt-tip permanent marker and as well as their ability to draw well-known Peanuts characters. Seeking applicants who are available to work all scheduled rehearsal and event dates, including weekends. We support a drug-free workplace and perform_ _pre-employment physicals and background checks._ Responsibilities: + Using your artistic abilities and performance talents to enrich Knott's Berry Farm's atmosphere for guests + Working as a member of a team to achieve overall atmosphere and goals set by Entertainment leadership and show directors + Consistently performing your role as scripted and/or conceived + Providing guest service according to the Six Flags standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions, and giving accurate directions + Maintaining cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performing all duties in compliance with the Six Flags Safety guidelines and requirements, and reporting all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision + Meeting scheduling availability requirements that include nights, weekends, and holidays + Fulfilling attendance requirements as outlined in the Six Flags attendance policy + Adhering to the Six Flags Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures + Performing other duties as they are assigned Qualifications: + Availability to work all assigned rehearsal and event dates that include weekday/weekends nights and holidays, weekends required + Art (pencil) experience (required) + Emcee/Host experience (preferred) + Ability to pass a background check if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, and DMV + Ability to provide record of previous employment, education, and personal references per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law Cedar Fair Entertainment Company is an equal opportunity employer.
