Job Description

• Our Traffic Engineering team is dedicated to improving transportation safety in our communities.
• We focus on developing and implementing solutions that make our roadways safer and more efficient.
• Our greatest project successes are measured by reducing crashes, preventing fatal crashes, and improving efficiency for everyone who travels through our communities.
• We are looking for a Traffic Engineer who is ready to grow into the next phase of their career: Project Management.
• In this role, you will be working with the Assistant Director to manage a variety of transportation safety and transportation planning projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Knowledge of the Access Management Manual, MUTCD, and the Highway Safety Manual, and the Trip Generation Manual
• Good working knowledge of Excel
• Prefer software experience with MicroStation, ArcGIS, Synchro, and/or VISTRO
• Possess written and oral communication skills with English proficiency
• Valid Driver's License
• Preference is given to candidates who have passed their Professional Engineer (P.E.) Exam
• Experience required: 3 Years
