Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.
Position Overview:
The Country Club is seeking a Senior Assistant Superintendent candidate who is eager to learn while thriving in a team atmosphere. This position will gain experience managing day-to-day operations at a 36-hole golf facility, professional development, golf course construction, and much more. A successful Senior Assistant Superintendent will continually learn and develop their skill set with potential for career advancement within the club in the future.
Requirements
• 2 to 4 year degree, or certificate in turf management, or related field
• Strong Agronomic Background
• Experience in the transition zone preferred
• Strong background in chemical and fertilizer applications including calibration
• Strong background in irrigation management
• Strong leadership abilities driven by commitment to teamwork
• Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively
• Past tournament experience and/or experience at traditional historic clubs preferred
Compensation
$65,000 to $75,000 per year.
