Schedule: Full-Time | Nights (Rotating Weekends)
Compensation & Incentives:
CRT Pay Range: $24.63 – $34.48/hour (based on experience)
RRT Pay Range: $27.09 – $37.92/hour (based on experience)
Shift Differentials: Nights +$4.50/hr | Weekends +$3.00/hr
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 for full-time days (with 1 year of experience, 2-year commitment) | $20,000 for full-time nights (with 1 year of experience, 2-year commitment)
Relocation Assistance: Available case by case
Overview
A leading acute care hospital in Hudson, FL is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join its respiratory care team. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment providing both routine and advanced respiratory therapy procedures for patients of all ages.
Responsibilities
Administer and monitor all routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures.
Set up and operate acute care ventilators for both short- and long-term mechanical ventilation.
Evaluate and develop individualized respiratory care plans for patients.
Maintain accurate documentation and enter information into hospital systems.
Work independently in the absence of a full-time team leader while ensuring quality care delivery.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to improve patient outcomes.
Completion of a vocational/technical program or AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associate degree required; Bachelor’s preferred).
Current Florida State License as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) – Required.
BLS certification through the American Heart Association – Required.
ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications – Required within 6 months of hire.
Ability to frequently stand, bend, reach, squat, and assist with patient movement.
